Sonicwall VPN connected, but says unidentified network

Forum General Networking : VPN, Remote Connection, VoIP & Video Conferencing Sonicwall VPN connected, but says unidentified network

Hello,

I have a strange issue.

At work, I am able to connect to sonicwall and log onto SAP.

At home, I am able to connect to sonicwall, yet I can't get onto SAP.

I am sure that this is a non-SAP related issue because I can use other VPN's to connect to other SAP systems. In my networks, sonicwall says 'unidentified network' which I believe is causing the issue. Normally it wouldn't say this.

I don't know too much about networks so if someone can help me out, that would be great.

Thanks,

I had a similar problem with the SonicWALL Global VPN client today. The problem was that I had Jumbo Packets enabled on my NIC because I enjoy faster file transfers. Apparently SonicWALL didn't account for this, as their client doesn't support them.

When I disabled Jumbo Packets, I connected almost immediately.
