We cant use the same heading in a PM or we'll get a flood attempted message.

Can the same thing be applied to a thread heading by the same poster to help with preventing multiple post for the same question over and over again? Just curious. :??:

You should be able to use the same heading... flood control only functions based on the frequency of the transmission, not the contents.

Aww. :( I thought I was on to something. In the past I tried to make a reply using the same title and got shot-down. I didn't realize it was a timing thing... oh well. I just don't use PM's that much so I never saw the true way it worked, but thanks for the info, we all learn something here. :)

If you make 5 posts in a minute or something around there it puts you under flood control for a bit. Either type a bit slower or just space out your submitting a bit more you should be fine. I havent run into it in quite a while.
