Right now I am having XFX- GTX-285 1GB DDR3 graphics card, but i cannot find the other piece for SLI. Please suggest whether MSI- GTX-285 1GB DDR3 can solve my issue.

Kind of un-sure of what this "missing piece" is.

Both of the cards mentioned will be compatible with SLI together.

I think he MIGHT mean SLI bridge? Can you clear this up for us? Include the rest of the system.

I agree think he is saying he is missing the SLI bridge.
If you don't have one you can buy one from ebay. You will need a 2 slot/2 way SLI Bridge.

Actually the XFX-GTX-285 DDR3 is said to be obsoleted & i cannot find the matching series for SLI, other than MSI-GTX-285 DDR3.
Please tell me how can i build my SLI with these 2 different Company's Cards. will it match or i have to try some other ways.

Moreover my board supports Crossfire x . Please guide me the best ways. As i am very much novice in this.

My system is:

Intel WX58BP , Intel - i7-920 , Corsair vengeance 12Gb tripple Channel (4x3) , CoolerMaster- HAF 922 with 1000w smps. 3 tb WD hard disk , XFX-GTX-285 DDR3- 1024mb.

Stop right there, just sell your current card and buy two AMD cards.

Well thanks for your information but i purchased the card only a year ago & moreover xfx gives a 3year lifetime warranty.
So could you suggest me what is the best Raedon cards & company to play games like COD-MW3 & Battlefield-3 in full resolution & max graphics.

I think he's telling you to do that because you might not be able to SLI because that board supports CFX, not SLI.
