Hey guys i am building my first gaming rig. I would appreciate any advice i am really amp'd up because i finally have the money i need to make this happen and want to build as soon as possible!

Approximate Purchase Date: the closer the better

Budget Range: $1000-1,200

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Parts Not Required: keyboard,mouse,speakers, monitor and i have a CoolerMaster HAF 932(tower)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg is preferred. I have compiled an idea of a rig myself let me know what you guys think

Everything looks decent other than the psu. That psu is manufactured by CWT for Corsair and it's pure junk. Also the Plextor SATA 3 120GB is going for $155 and free shipping from newegg.

Yea this build from my limited knowledge looks solid

In your opinion do you think this game will be able to run games for the next 2-3 years on ultra/high settings?

Guessing the future in regards to computer tech is more of a gamble than shooting craps in Vegas. You would go with the option of dual vid cards...that board you have in your build with a solid $100 psu and that would give you a bit more future proofing.

Brands you want to look at and in no particular order: Seasonic, Silverstone, Enermax, Corsair, XFX, Antec, OCZ "ZS" series, upper tier LEPA, and PC Power & Cooling.

Ive heard good things about the GTX 560 and ill have to make my decision.

I almost forgot im buying a regular cdrom/dvd drive is their any compatibility issues in regards to the drivers and the mobo/cpu etc.. im a rookie

Yep. Either card will work with the mobo, cpu and psu.

Sweet deal, im about to submit my purchase thanks so much for the play by play help you are providing for me. I am so excited about this I cant even explain. Ive been running on a 10 year old MAC i b ought when i thought i was going to be a video editor ...cant explain my grief haha
