New Computer hiccups for a split second when gaming/during video

Forum Homebuilt Systems : Homebuilt New Computer hiccups for a split second when gaming/during video

Hey everyone,

I have just completed my first homebuild PC with the following specs:

Core i5 2500K
ASRock Extreme 3 Gen 3 Mobo
EVGA DS superclocked GTX 560Ti
Corsair Venegeance 8GB RAM
Corsair professional series 750W psu
WD caviar black 1TB HDD

In a couple of occasions, the computer will hiccup like it got stuck in an audio loop for a second or less.

Is this something I should be worrying about?

Please let me know if any more info is needed.

Thanks!

That's hard to say. Your PC may be busy indexing the drive or updating in a new build.

Of course, you need to check and make sure you have all the latest drivers.

You should also run CPU-Z and RealTemp in conjunction with Prime95 to make sure your temps are fine and CPU and RAM are configured properly.
