Forum Forum Feedback : Feature Requests Topics without answers

Are there any changes planned for the way the "Topics without answers" option
(noreponse.php?config=tomshardwareus.inc&cat=xx)
displays results in the near future?

In most cases the recent topics are displayed at the top and older topics to the bottom of the page. And still older topics are pushed are off the single page display so we only see about 30 topics total at any one time.

In a busy section of the forums a topic with no answer can slip off the front page in an hour or two. Many of the newer not answered topics still show up on the first or 2nd page of the main topics list but older not answered topics can get buried several more pages deeper into the pack.

It might make more sense to reverse the order of the display to have the oldest non-answered topics at the top of the sorted list. And having an option to be able to sort through more than a single page of topics would also be nice.

It's a good idea. Perhaps the new forum software, which should be implemented at some point in the near future (who knows for sure) will have some sort of option to make that happen. Either that or perhaps some sort of highlighting option of threads with no answers to make them stand out more. Of course, this would only work if you were able to see more than 30 threads per page. I'd personally like to see that number doubled.
