I recently decided to purchase the parts and build my own computer so I could get what I want.. get generally a faster system for gaming, and do it all for less money(haha)

This has been such a huge hassle, and has ended up costing me so much more money that I planned that I don't think i'll ever attempt this again. I'm at the end of my rope.

ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I52500K
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F90GB3-BK 2.5" 90GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

I initially could not get the system to post after installing the components. VGA, CPU, and DRAM lights were all lit up. I tried most things i've read on the internet and this forum to fix it.

Turns out the pins on the motherboard were bent (not sure if I did this, or my cousin did this, or it came this way). So I went to the local fry's electronics and purchased another motherboard. They have a service there that will install your processor in your motherboard for $10 bucks so I decided to do that. Mind you I had to drive back home and retrieve my processor and return for this service, and its a 2 hour round trip.

So, I got my processor and returned with the motherboard.. they installed the processor into the motherboard and it would not post. They told me that my processor was bad, and so was the motherboard that I had purchased earlier.

So I returned the motherboard I got from their, and purchased a new processor(I intend to get a refund on the intel core I5 that I bought)

They had no motherboards there that would support an intel processor, so I ended up getting a AMD FX 8150, and a motherboard to go with it. They were able to get this motherboard, processor, and my ram to post.

I drove home hoping i'd finally have my dang computer and I cannot get windows 7 to install from the windows 7 home premium disk that I purchased. It would stick on loading windows. I searched the internet and one of the tips I read was to remove one stick of ram and attempt to install again. This seemed to work, and I was able to get to the installation screen.
During windows expanding files I received error 0x80070570.

After searching and trying different things for about 3 hours I decided to make a bootable installation usb drive. I attempted to install with this and it installed to where it rebooted the computer. After the reboot I changed the SSD that I was installing on back to the first drive in the boot order because it kept attempting to boot to the installation usb again. It continued the installation but errored out and told me that windows was unable to install some components and told me to try installing again.

So I attempted to install again and again got to the point where it rebooted and this time it quit before windows loaded, and booted to a safe boot screen. I attempted repair off the installation disk and it could not repair. I attempted to reinstall again, and again got error 0x80070570 during windows expanding files.

So any ideas?

Any help is greatly appreciated.(It's nice having a $1700 dollar paper weight)

Sorry if that was jumbled and rambling.. it's late, and i've been staring at a computer screen for what seems like forever.
