I am in the market for a computer and I am wishing to build one. It is my first build but I have researched throughly and I know what to do, but I don't know what parts to use. I have £510 ($805) to build one and need a screen and an OS (prerably Windows 7), but I have a hard drive I can use. I will be using my computer for games like minecraft and Battlefield 3 and I would like at least 50fps on both games.
I cannot speak to the picture quality of the monitor, but it does come with a 2 year warranty. My advice is to shop around as the monitor your eyes like is the one to buy regardless of price or brand. The machine should play most games at high settings on such a 19" monitor.

I would take any extra monies and put them into a 6870 card, and a 23" monitor. The i3-2100 is plenty fast, and 23" has sort of become the gaming standard. And once again, I would go some place where you could actually try one out with a game if possible.
I am lucky enough to have a store called Fry's that builds up gaming machines and puts them out with the latest games for demo to show off the parts they sell. They always have them hooked up to 23" these days.

If I wanted a motherboard with two pci-e x16 slots what would you recommend. I found the Asrock P67 Pro3 SE for £72 off another website, however one of slots is running @x4 mode and also it has some other nice features
We are kind of getting out of your budget range now, but a good dual card motherboard would be an ASUS or Gigabyte with a z68 chipset. Any model will do. Just get the one that has the features you want.
