Hello,
I have spent days searching for a home printer that is fed from the top so that it can print on hammer embossed paper 260gm and 300gm smooth shimmery board. I have an HP officejet 7410 which prints on the 300gm board but won't print on the lighter weight 260gm hammer. It caused a paper jam. it was given to me as a present .PLEASE can someone help me!I have started a handmadewedding stationery business and will be using it for text mainly and maybe some photos too, but not often. I just need a printer that will print on most papers and weights up to 300gm.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Have you tried printing on he lighter weight paper one sheet at a time just to see if it works? It makes no sense that it can print on thicker paper and not the slightly thinner - I've used nothing thicker than 150 gm for years on several printers and the only time I've jammed up the printer, I have to fan the paper out first to loosen it up when it comes out of the packet or gets stuck together in the printer.
