Hello,
i just spilt water on my desktop and it wasnt starting left it over night and got the hair dryer to it it now turns off and on by its self could something be stuck eg power button

Oh, there could be a whole heap of reasons. Leaving it overnight wasnt a good idea... should have took the blow dryer to it immediately.

1. Could have fried the PSU
2. Memory could be fried
3. Motherboard could be fried
4. etc. etc. etc.

------------------------------ To hell with you AMD and Intel Fanboys... My TRS-80 still does the dishes and takes the trash out. Beat that!

yeah i did do the hair dryer for about 2 hours as soon as it happened then i left it over night tryed tuning it on now it just turns on then off

ouch.

Well, to be frank, there is a good possibility you may have fried the power supply. I would first check the power supply, then mother board, then memory in that order.
