i originally tought that edwards scissor hands was cool as an avatar but i wanted to switch him, and i uploaded a new picture but it keeps coming back to that original picture can any help me out please thanks

When you change your avatar, your old avatar will still show, until an admin approves the new one.

The avatar approval system is a bit quirky. Sometimes even after approval you'll see your old avatar (even a previous one if you've had more than one already) for a period of time. It shouldn't be more than a couple of hours at the most before the correct one shows though.
