Security password on laptop

I would like to know whether there's a way to cancel the security password(can't access the bios) or reset the cmos.The problem lies in the fact that i've removed the software that would help me do this.Is it possible by connecting it up with a pc and doing it that way.

I hope you'll understand that Forum Rules prevent posters from advising on password hacking for obvious reasons - although there's usually one who will.

I think it is permissible to say that with BIOS passwords, the manufacturer may help on production of suitable evidence of ownership.
