Hello, high pitched sound coming from speaker however once i starts to talk it goes away. Using skype and yahoo messenger to talk makes no difference the high pitch sound pops up when there's a silence between me and the person i'm chatting with. Gives me a head ache everytime like you're being tortured,

its a feedback loop. use a headset or push to talk

i'd be willing to bet your mic is either set to playback, or you have the levels set too high. look under sound properties for your mic and check the "always play back" setting
