I'm having a problem taking one of the cables off of the motherboard. I'm installing the power supply unit on a Dell Inspiron 530. It's the one on the motherboard next to the power supply unit. It looks like a clip. Is there a certain way to take it off? I really would appreciate your help. Thank you

Hi :)

The clip has a little catch on one side of it...press that IN and pull the connection off....

All the best Brett :)

I have tried to figure out which clip you're referring to, googled some mobo pictures, can't find it. Can you sent a picture link with what you're referring to on it?

I know exactly what it is, a little green clip = you press it and it releases the psu.
So what you're saying is it's preventing you from installing the new psu?
