would a pair of gtx560 ti's perform well with an intel q9650 ?
looking to upgrade my pair of 260's but not sure if my old cpu will be able to perform ok with them
any suggestions ?

Overclock slightly. The Q9650 is still a great cpu.

You will be fine. I used to have a pair of GTX 460s with my earlier stock Q9550 and it performed excellent. If there was any "bottleneck", it was undiscernable. Your Q9650 is a bit faster than that. No worries.
