I need help choosing a case for a gaming rig. My budget is $2K. I really like the Corsair 600t, but isn't $200.00 (newegg), total after everything, too much for this budget? I'm a first time builder. I'm also considering Corsair 500r (white) and Cooler Master Haf 321. Please help.
I can get the Corsair 600t from TigerDirect for only 149.99, tax-free and free shipping, but I don't trust UPS shipping this heavy case to Cali from IL. and then I have to send it back which would cost me the same and plus the hassle.

Is your budget 2k$ tight or with spare, also what type of components do you plan on having, gives us a better idea, and also to possibly help you with component choices to fit your budget and get the most out of it.

They are suggesting some nice cases withing your budget.
I would suggest http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Maste [...] 306&sr=8-1 If size isn't an issue and it's still under 200$.
Supposed to be the case with best airflow as of 2011 if I'm not mistaken.
Has USB 3.0, side panel and plenty of space for future upgrades.
Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series $169.00 .. $159.00 with rebate card but $19.99 shipping . Nice looking case .
I'm just doing to go with the CM Haf 932 (free shipping). Haf X is way too big. There is no justification to purchase a case for over $200 with a budget of $2K so that one can just stick their CPU components in there. Players view their monitors, not the gaming rig.
Haf 932 has over 2,000 reviews with 5/5 stars, so there's no going wrong here. It seems that CM cases are popular. 932 has dust filters so that's nice.

You think I should get the 600T white and not CM 932**? What's your experience with their shipping (NCIX). I'd hate to hassle and spend more money to ship a damaged case back to them.
**at Newegg 600T only has a few hundred reviews while Haf 932 has over 2,200 5/5 stars.

NCIX is every bit as good as Newegg for shipping.
I've ordered cases and everything else from Ncix and it shipped out of B.C. (i live in Ontario)= never had a damaged item or even a box that was messed up.
Like i said Ncix in the US is in L.A..
Buy whatever case you prefer they're both great cases.
Last time i checked most HAF series cases have no filters.pretty sure the 932 has no filters.
Why companies like this exist.
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/ [...] 3s1024b166 In real use you only need intake filters imo.
