ok i was wanting to overclock my computer a little bit and i need some help
let me give u the specs of the computer

case-LanBoy Air with a total of 10 120mm led fans pointing in
the motherboard is a asrock m3a770de
cpu amd phenom II 1055t stock 2.8ghz
cpu fan hyper 101 with two 80mm fans one on each side
asus radeon hd 6870 1gb gddr5
gskill 8gb (2-4gb) ddr3 1600 ram
hitachi 1tb sata hd
dvd/rw sata
windows 7 64bit
right now running core temp it says that all the cores are running 30c
gpu running 40c

i would like to get this running a little faster safely

any help with the settings would be appreciated

asrocks bios is confusing alot to adjust if u wanted to

now without the internet explorer open and nothing else going
i seen the temps dip to 24-28c

so if possible from 2.8 to 3.4ghz
is that possible with what i have?

Wow.... That's a hell of a lot of fans sending air into the case. Before you get onto the OC'ing Boat. Better get airflow correct in the case...

if u know the lanboy air case then u will know the fans lol
forces all the dust and air out the mesh

just a fyi there is room for another 5 120mm led fans lol

The GPU running at 40C doing what?
It's not the question of a Lanboy case it's a question of getting the turbulence inside the case where streaming air from the outside to the inside where the GPU's pulling air from onto it's heatsink are crossing over. Lanboy cases are good as long as you get the setup right. Having it all open and throwing in massive volumes of air doesn't make it cool, getting it right does.
Same temps as you have now, can be achieved with a minimum airflow case too? What's the point of buying a beautiful case and having it perform as a average case?

ok well the gpu is even with two of the side fans air is blowing into the case onto the vide cardand the backside of the card
the card blows the air down thru the bottom of the case
teh cpu fans one of each side blow in the direction of the front of the case to the back fan with blows out of the case its the only one to be a exhaust fan
i have two fans on top of the case blowing into the side of the cpu heatsink
the front of the case has two fans blowing back to the back of the case
so basically the flow goes from the front of the case to the back with the exhaust fan in the rear as a exhaust fan blowing outward
the gpu is pulling air from the back and side(towards the front of the case) which is blown to it by the front fans

what i tried to make sure is the air moved from the front to the back and top to down with the air being blown out the back of the case
now the temp for the video card is idle and running at 40c
under load i dont see it go above 60-65
that is while i can get out of game and look at the card temp real quick
this is under bf3 and mw3

the cpu with only internet explorer open, asus smart doctor, core temp and steam running is sitting at 23c

You can OC you rig the easy way, using AMD overdrive or ASRock OC Tuner. These would be the easiest utilities to use to OC and jump onto the OCing Wagon at the soonest. Check them out in the User Manual of the board.

ok fellas so far with the fans pointed the correct way removing a couple to fans to control the flow it idels 23c thru coretemp meaning 33c idle
now i overclocked from 200x14 to 215x14 and running at 3ghz from 2.8ghz
temps hover at 30c (40c true temp)
this is without a voltage jump
should i try for 3.2 or leave it

forgot this was thru the bios for the oc not thru asrock oc

You could go for 3.2 or 3.4 too it has been taken upto 3.9 so this itself would be quiet a feat.
