AMD e300 or Intel i3 2330m which is the better performing processor, which handles graphics better, which processes apps better?

The Intel i3 2330m is a much more powerful CPU. There simply is no comparison.

The integrated graphics core are probably equal to other, more or less, but the Radeon HD 6310 is a DirectX 11 core. Just keep in mind that DX11 effects are rather taxing and the HD 6310 is a weak graphics core.

The Intel HD 3000 graphics core only supports up to DX10.1. But that will change when they release Ivy Bridge CPUs with the Intel HD 4000.

Appreciate the info. but after researching benchmarks I went with AMD A6-3400m. This one seemed to be the best in the same price range. Thank you.

Best answer. I paid $450.00 for an HP dv6 with the A6 3400m and Radeon 6520 and it has a reasonable speed even when playing games, awesome sound.

so your saying that benchmarks had a 1.30 Ghz processor with 1Mg cache beat a 2.20Ghz processor with 3Mgs of cache?

NEVERMIND i misread your post. good for you doing your research!
