I'm curious if you read the rebate terms and conditions.....

I didn't know the answer, but I knew it was in the terms, which is why I was wondering if you read it.
So I was unable to answer yes or no.
I have question for you regarding fans for a Dell Inspiron 530 full-size model.
Is it true that you have to use a Dell case fan, and not another brand?
It depends on whether or not Dell used non-standard wiring for their case fans to make you buy their fans or re-wire any fans you want to use. Are you talking 120mm fans, 92mm, 80mm? What are the dimensions of the fans you want to replace? Connectors available to power the fans? (4-pin molex from the PSU, standard 3-pin or 4-pin mobo headers)
Who told you that you could only buy replacement fans from Dell?
Edit: Nice thread-jacking

I don't mind aswering or talking it out, but you may get more response by creating another thread....this one may be getting bypassed by other experienced posters that would take a look at a new thread with the right subject.

So I guess you didn't read the terms........wow...wouldn't that have been easier than contacting them?
I meant to send that to Rugger.
As stated before a few posts above, Geek, I did read the terms but was not certain what they meant. It is a good idea to get clarification on what they mean.
Limited one item per offer, per person, household, family or address.
So you weren't certain what that meant and had to call them for clarification??? Really?
They make these rebate offers way to hard for the average Tom's Hardware reader.
