Hello,
I have a MSI Motherboard. MS 7142
I am running windows 7 Home Premium.
My graphics card is. nVidia Geforce 7300 GT.
I have 2 Gigabyte of ram.
My CPU is. AMD Sempron 2800+1600.
What CPU can I upgrade to on the details given above.
The Computor is running slow. i have been told that it is not worth trying to upgrade the CPU. I need to buy a new computor.

This is the fastest cpu you can get for your board: http://www.starmicroinc.net/produc [...] 00AEP3AX/. You can list a budget for upgrade recommendations.

Thanks for your help. i have purchased a 754 CPU OEM 2400 which has now rectified all of my problems

Thanks for your help. I went to the website and found the correct type of CPU that I could use. I have since purchased one on my computer is now working fine.
