I am a huge Corsair fan, I always loved their products- from keyboards to cases, they seem to be the only company that does everything well. The 300R came in a few days ago and it was pure awesome.
Now I'm waiting for the 550D, a new addition to the Obsidian series. What do you guys think? Will it be Corsair's first flop (I highly doubt it)? Or will it mow down all the other silent cases (Fractal R3, P280)?
I think this 550D is special, it's not quite like Corsair's other cases and it's their first step toward the quiet PC market. IMO, that's one enormous step- it has magnetic dust filters all over the case (except the rear, obviously), superb build quality (nothing new from Corsair there), and it has super sleek aesthetics. This might be my choice for my upcoming Ivy Bridge build.
