hello..

Please let me know which is the best i3 processor for desktops ?? As I have a very limited budget. so have to settle down with i3.. plzzz... let me know..asap.. thanks all.. Well I am looking at.. i3 2100, i3 2125 or i3 2130..

Well the difference really is just a slight core frequency speed increase.

 

Unless the price difference is minimal/within budget, then I don't believe its really worth spending the extra on the i3-2130 over the i3-2100 for the sake of 300MHz

 

The price difference on NewEgg is about $25 which personally I would probably rather spend elsewhere on the build if the budget was tight.

umm this might be stupid, but according to i5s and i7s, the letter means its overclockable, so ask urself if ur gonna overclock or not if u are then go for the T version if not go for the 2100

The over-clockable SandyBridge CPU's are the K-series. K-series shows the CPU has an unlocked multiplier. (i5-2500K, i7-2600K ect)

T is for a low power CPU. The i3-2100T is slower than the i3-2100 (2.5GHz vs 3.1GHz).

There's about a 20% performance difference when comparing them. REF: http://compare-processors.com/foru [...] -t181.html

thanks a ton guyz.. one more.. thing.. which mobo and which graphic card to for with i3 2100 :)

actually is planning to make a PC after around 5-6 years.. lol'z.. :D.. currently using a P-4.. :P..
