Hi,

I am putting together a new computer. But i cant seem to get the 24pin atx power connector from the PSU to snap into the connector on the mother board.

I had an old dead power supply with a 24pin connector and i tried it in the connector of the mother board and it snapped right in.

Background:
My Mother board is a gigabyte A75M-UD2H
My PSU is a Corsair CX430

My question is what should i do.........i have everything together now but i am just not sure i should plug the power to it. While the connector does not snap in it is very snug.......requres considerable force to remove.........but again i am not sure what to do?

I plan on contacting the Corsair company but its sunday and they are not open now.

Any advice would be great.
