They always do that, I just had another OP who'd gone and bought everything really pretty much expensive stuff, Intel Xeon Processors and the works, and finally he has reached , or was made to understand that the Mobo and those Processors aren't compatible......
The server world is a little bit tricky but works pretty well once you get the whole thing going.
