Hi i recently built a new PC, and need a little help when it comes to the temperatures i need and should have

spec:
i5 2500k
Asus P8Z68-V LX
G-Skill 8GB
ATI Radeon HD 6970 2GB
CPU cooler is Corsair H50

when im doing nothing on my computer just sitting at the desktop CPUID says;

i normal use speedfan and that say my cpu is really high....

(nothing to worry about, its just a problem with the temperature sensor. there are built in sensors on the cpu that will shut it down if it gets too hot)

 

its a known bug with that motherboard (ive got the same board)

 


your going to have to wait for a bios update to fix it or an update to the program might fix it

 


i recon its bios related though. as the last bios update was around october last year its probably that

look at the core temperature. its the inside which should be the hottest not the outside
