I have an old IBM Pentium 4 computer from my college and we took it apart and took the cpu/heat sink out of it now the video doesn't work. any suggestions on what caused it or how i can fix it without buying anything expensive?

the same ones... i didnt have any more laying around.

Did you reapply the thermal paste that covers the processor between the Heat sink and the CPU surface? or did you use a thermal pad there?

Thermal paste is needed.
