Hello, i'm building my own computer and i was wondering if someone could take a look at these components i'm looking at to see if they are compatible with one another as i have no idea how to tell whether they are or not...

Also, if you know the area, could you tell me if this PC would run modern games on a highish setting (Anything higher than medium) on games like Crysis 2, and Battlefield Bad Co.2?

Thanks Alot In Advance!

the link for the motherboard is the same link as for the cpu

Core i5-2500K CPU and Radeon HD 6950 is a great combo for modern games. Good choices there.
CM HAF 922 Case, 8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 RAM, WD Caviar Blue 500 GB 7200rpm SATA III HDD - all good choices there.

On the Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card - I'm thinking hold off on adding a sound card and see if the motherboard on-board sound meets your requirements. I think it might and you can always add a sound card later.

The 24x USB External Slim CD-ROM Drive is a Read Only (ROM) optical drive.
You'll want an internal CD/DVD burner I think. Like LG 24X SATA CD/DVD burner

Did you want a LCD monitor with speakers included?
