[CPU & GPU] Are my temperatures too high while playing?

I'm a heavy gamer, and I love to play games on a pretty high setting, so when BF3 game out I got an upgrade from my GTX 260 to a GTX 560 Ti. The game runs pretty nicely at an average of 55-60 fps, at a resolution of 1680*1050, everything high with AA off.

But I've been checking my temperatures lately, and they seem to be pretty high, or at least it seems like that to me. I've used "SIW"/"System Information Windows" to determain my GPU and CPU temperatures.
After playing BF3 for about 8 minutes or so, the temperatures are: CPU = 60C (On all cores) & GPU = 76C.

I've tried in Skyrim as well, with everything on high, and AA set to 2; the temperatures are pretty much the same. (Avg. 60 fps)

So I'm wondering if these are high temperatures for playing a game like Battlefield 3 or Skyrim, could someone please tell me?


PC specs:
Motherboard: Micro-star 770-C45 (MS-7599)
Powersupply: I do not remember the model, but it's a Corsair.
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 (Stock heat sink)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti
RAM: 4GB DDR3 (2 2GB Corsair)
HDD: 500GB internal drive + 2TB external drive.
Case: NZXT Beta Evo case, Stock fan in front + one in the back (My case is a TINY bit older version of this one, the power supply is on the top in mine)
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit (SP 2)

Not too shabby,since i'll assume you're using a stock heatsink.
You could buy an aftermarket HS and drop the cpu temps.
A new case with a bottom mount psu and top exhaust fans would be even better.
I'd add a better HS.
You're gpu temps are ok.

They're safe, but lower temps would definitely be nicer. Get a $20 Hyper TX3 is you don't want to to spend money, or a $35 Hyper 212 EVO if you're willing.

Yh as everyone has already said, the temps are not really anything to worry about although getting an aftermarket heatsink would be recommended
