Hello,
Which of these are better in overall performance? I use very simple graphic, but still want power at a good value. I have a budget of up to $900

He might be talking about laptops.
Isn't A6-3400 (M) the laptop model?
A4-3400 is the dual core desktop part.

My answer would still be the same

The Core i7 is better than the Llano A4 APU regardless if you are taking about a desktop or laptop. The A4 does have a little more powerful integrated graphics core, but in term of CPU processing performance you are comparing a Chevrolet Corvette (Core i7) to Ford Fiesta (Llano A4).

Assuming you're talking about laptops

The A6 has a much better integrated GPU, but the i7 is a much better CPU. For a $900 laptop, you can probably get one with discrete graphics if you need gaming.

For laptop. I5-24xx, or I7-xxxx w/540M gpu should be less than 900. Bought the Samsung RF7111-S01 - 17.3 in, w/I5-2410m, 540M gpu, Bluray rom/dvdrw, 4 gigs ram (single stick) for $750 (on sale ofcoarse at newegg). Then added a 4 gig stick - cheap, and removed HDD and stuck in 2 128 gig M4 SSDs. Outside of Gaming (which I'm not) almost as good as my Desktop I5-750, not quit upto my other desktop, an I5-2500k

For Desktop, concur I7-xxxx
