Hey i just bought a new Phenom II and was wondering if I had to register it through the AMD website to receive the 3 year warranty?

As far as I know you don't have to register it. I would save all the original packaging though just in case you have to RMA it.

The actual warranty terms. Does not require product registration but it's not a bad idea to go ahead and do it if they give you the option.
