Im buying a new fan for my megahalem revision B i belive it is and I would like someone to point me in the direction of a good fan to use on it. I read the sticky about fans and im lead to belive that the silverstone penetrator series is the way to go. I have an i-7 930 2.8 ghz cpu thank you for your time.

Megahalems perform very well with fans 1600+rpm and high static pressure.

Im currently using the scythe slipstream you have listed and i read a few reviews on the newegg site saying it was not a very good fan to be used on a heatsink. I know nothing about high static pressure fans so i just go by what i read. Thank you for responding

Well probably due to the fact that over time it will become noisier due to the sleeve bearing.
It however is still a very good fan price/performance wise.
Ideally i would chose a fan with a FDB design = Silverstone,Thermalright, and Scythe all make that type.
FDB fans costs more but are worth it imo..
