Forum CPU & Components : CPUs Is this operating temp normal?

Hi, i was just wondering if the operating temperature of my AMD Phenom II x6 1055T processor was normal. Right now I have it overclocked to 3.8 Ghz and I do have an after market cooler (Cooler Master Hyper N520) however speed fan is telling me that my CPU temp maxes out at about 53 Degrees (C) and is about 28 Degrees (C) on idle and it says that my core maxes out at about 40 Degrees (C). Im trusting the CPU temp because it says that my core temp on idle is 15 Degrees (C) while my house temp is like 20 so how could be colder. I'v been doing the while running Prime 95 torchure test to stress CPU. oh and i have 3 case fans and great airflow and it a negitive presure setup (does this make a difference?) i was just woundering if this was normal or at least ok to run.

Thanks,

mmmkk thanx. I was just a little worried since people on other forums said that their temps were around 40 Degrees

I think somewhere around or maybe a little above 60 Celsius is about as high as you want to get it
