Hi i need some help with this cpu.

First what is the normal voltage this cpu has?
My motherboard sets the voltage at 1.42 but i see a lot of peple has 1.32
So what's the normal voltage please help.

Also how do i enable cool n quiet on xp 32
On a normal dual core. i used to installed a driver from amd, and set power profile to minimal power management.
But this one is a quad core and i don't see any driver for xp 32

Thanks for the help

normal voltage should be like 1.3 ish. cool n quite should be on by default but its in the bios somewhere. Just get catalyst control center.

you don't need drivers for a cpu.

If you are looking for stock clock speed I agree with the 1.3 number -- that is what my chips ran at. You can start with that and adjust as necessary.

If I recall correctly, in order to get CnQ working in xp, you need to do the following:

1. Make sure you download the latest updates for XP -- there is an update for AMD processors that is needed. If windows update says you are current then you are fine.

2. Make sure CnQ is enabled in your mobo bios

3. Set power profile to minimal power management

Others can add or correct me as required.
