[Solved] What is the Best Bang for my buck?

I've got two build options I'm looking at I'd like to keep it in the 650$ if possible. The max I will be willing and able to spend is around 675$. I only need these parts: Motherboard, Video Card, Ram, CPU, and Aftermarket cooler, and I am looking to overclock. The possible combinations I have at the moment are as follows.

I can go the Intel route, and this is what I was thinking about getting.
Motherboard: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 (120$)
Processor: i5-2500k (230$)
Memory: Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB DDR3 1600 (40$)
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ (30$)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti 1GB (210$)
This comes out to be about 640$ with Shipping

Or the other options I was thinking was an AMD Route, in which I was thinking about these parts

Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ (130$)
Processor: Phenom II x4 975 (150$)
Memory: Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB DDR3 1600 (40$)
Cooler: Sunbeam Tech Core Contact Freezer (25$)
Video Card: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870x2 in Crossfire (330$ for both)

Other possible cards I was think are a Sapphire 6950 2GB(270$) model or possibly just going with the 1GB model as I don't plan on using more than one monitor at 1920x1080 resolution. Another option is A GTX560ti as mentioned in the previous paragraph. The price comes out to 675$ if I crossfire 2 6870's. I don't plan on upgrading for a while so if I get a 6950, I probably wont be able to afford to get another one in the future for a while.

What I would like to know is what do you think would be the best bang for my buck if I don't plan on upgrading, or purchasing any other parts for at least 2 years.

6870 crossfire performs better than the 580 and is cheaper than the 570.
