Hey guys
I am upgrading my current config with a GTX 550ti
My current config is

i3 540 (OC'd to 3.3 frm 2.93 on stock cooler)
4GB DDR3 1333MHz
Intel DH55TC board
Seagate 500GB HDD @7200RPM
Usual CD-DVD combo

Help me out choosing a suitable PSU
I Shortlisted Corsair's CX430, is it enough or do i need more wattage
its given it handles 38amp on 12v rails

i also plan to upgrd later to a bettr CPU-mobo combo i5 2500..

CX430 only has 28amps on the +12 volts but will still handle it. If you are planning overclocking in the future (new CPU) then a bigger PSU would be recommended.

thanks for the correction.. anywy i may just drop the plan for an i5 n wait for intel's haswell chips.. considering smaller manufacturing process (22nm) used they should be less power hungry.. i may add a few more HDDs though.. wud i still need a better psu???

corsair's CX430 costs 2490INR (approx $49) and CX500 is at 3700INR (approx $75)
