I always wait for it. I utilize a lot of programs from adobe to microsoft to quicken, & more. Most at the same time but have issues. I do a lot of video creation as well. looking at a intel quad core q6600 not sure if thats the right direction to go. Not sure about ram or a heat sink vs um a water cooler (not sure that's right).

Hello Yuozhoumel;

Which CPU do you have installed now? How much RAM?

This should be your system specifictions;
HP Pavilion a6400f Desktop PC Product Specifications

And these should be your motherboard specifications:
Motherboard Specifications, IPIBL-LB (Benicia)
The Processor upgrade information shows the CPUs supported by that motherboard.

Sorry for not responding till now upgrades was done while I was in hospital. CPU I have now is Q6600 8 gigs of ram. 64 bit OS, and ATI Radeon HD 5700 video card. Index says it's only 5.9, video card seems to be slowing me down it says and primary hard disk. It is moving much faster yet transfer rates, renduring, seems to be taking quite awhile. Not sure what else I can do to make it faster and run smoother. Thank you all for waiting. Still In & out of hospital for a few more months :) I am getting better enduring each surgery as it comes along.
