Hello.
Everytime I go to tomehardware.com, it redirects me to the UK site (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/#redir).
Being that the Americans are closer to me, I tend to prefer the US division.
A few times I accidently lurked the UK site instead.
Not a real issue, but odd and a little bit annoying, and judging by comments on articles I've seen, I'm not the first.
So, someone willing to take a look into the redirecting process? Such as redirecting properly based on IP.
We use a system to redirect non-U.S. users from various places to the UK site. The content on the forums is exactly the same. Unfortunately, I don't have much control over this system or its rules.

I live in Mexico, on the border, about a mile from the US, I know you said the content is the same, but if Canadians and Mexicans are redirected to the US site wouldn't it be faster for us?

Is there a way to tweak it so it goes to the US forum all the time?
When I go to the UK site it shows 1 less badge.
And with the difference in distance it should be faster to access the US forum all the time.

Try using http://www.tomshardware.com/us and http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ (you must have the final slash for the second link or it will 404 on you). Those go to the US main site and forum respectively. I do know that some people get redirected to the UK forum once they go beyond the forum root anyway, but it doesn't do that for me unless there's a bug.
