Am I just blind?

I can't find any way to search the forums beyond the general-purpose search bar at the top. Which, as far as I can tell, searches absolutely everywhere. The results don't even say which forum they're coming from. So I can choose between sorting by relevance, and getting the kinds of threads I'm looking for, from 2003, or sorting by date and getting all manner of stuff from now.

Is there really no way to search in a specific forum, or to search titles only? There MUST be, right?

For now you can't limit searches to a specific forum, but you can use the links that appear on the left of search results to filter by forum posts, articles, reviews, etc.

I found this post in another forum, but I don't see a magnifying glass.

1: Click on the magnifying glass, it's a little below the "post reply" button.

Selecing the drop down under "Within" to limit yourself to a specific subsection.
