When instaling windows XP the screen turns blue after the windows setup has load

when instaling windows XP the screen turns blue after the windows setup has loaded.Then a message appear "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer......."what can I do to fix this...I've changed the hard drive several times but still no results of the setup that continues to install windows.Any advice please... :(

At this point I would run memtest86. Let it run at least overnight unless it errors out sooner.

edit - this isn't XP home is it? if you have a mulitprocessor server (not the same as multi-core) then you need at least XP pro to take advantage of the extra processor. if you have more than two processors you need a server edition of windows.
