What do you guys think about using a 2600k as a web server?

Have you done it?

I love this cpu, best bag for your buck but you think its good enough to run a solid server?

Register or log in to remove.

Probably. Some server boards permit using regular cpus with ecc ram, but it can't be registered. Xeon models require ecc ram. Depends on the motherboard.
