1st let me say I am not an AMD fanboy and this is not specifically about this processor, but benchmark testing in general. I just happened to notice how they tested this processor against 5600 Intel using the slower memory

I noticed several reviews of this new processor. the correct memory for it is 1600mhz ram but when comparing it to Intel, they test both with 1333. So when new tech comes is it better to test it against existing tech using the slower components, or do you test the new tech how it was meant to be used? IE test the platform versus the CPU
