Usb support

i am using Server 08. I have disabled Usb support in the Bios settings due to the server freezing because of external drives plugged into usb. Little did i know, this has disable my ps/2 ports for keyboard and mouse. I need to get usb support enabled again. Help!

to reset the BIOS there is either a jumper you can move (read the manual), or you can remove the battery (keep it out for a few minutes).

When you next boot the computer the BIOS will be reset and the USB will be enabled again.

Is there any possibility that i will lose any data or internal setting this way?

only the BIOS settings. All your data and OS settings will remain the same. You'll have to reset the clock at a minimum. You might need to reset the HDD settings to AHCI if you changed it before since it will probably default to IDE.
