How to know if a network card support promiscous mode

Forum CPU & Components : NICs How to know if a network card support promiscous mode

Word :    Username :

Is there a single command to know if a network card is in promiscous mode or that is at promiscous mode already?

Please, no explanations just the command to know if the card is in that state and if not, how to configure it...

There are to much conversations regarding promiscous mode, but not a single command (Linux/Unix/Windows) on how to manage this...

Thanks,

Wilson
