Hi i wanted to knw whether i can turn on or off the video ports using any functions if matrox card is used.if so which function can be used?please reply
its very very urgent ..pls help if anyone knws

I am assuming that you have integrated graphics on your motherboard and you have installed a Matrox video card. If you want to use the Matrox card, you have to connect the monitor to the output of the card, not the video connector on the motherboard. You can also go into the BIOS of your motherboard and disable on-board video. If you give us more information about your system, we can help you with these tasks.

thanks for the reply...i wanted to know whthr i can turn on or off the video port using any library functions(since i have to implemnt in c++) if am using matrox cards...any chance for such an implementation..do u have any idea????
