I also recommend CORSAIR Vengeance, quality RAM and low profile with XMP profile. And if u will get an aftermarket CPU cooler, low profile is the worry free remedy with perfect fit with any large cooler.

Yes, low profile ram is the way to go. One day, all the ram with these tall heat spreaders will be looked at like the big hair of the 80's. Just gaudy.

I would go cheap with Corsair XMS3, it's good budget DDR3 (1333MHz). I spent about $40 for 8GB twice. It is plenty for all of my needs.

I am getting large Noctua cooler and it is recomended to have a low profile ram.
