Its a good board, and if have all what you need, then buy.

Why only 12GB RAM? Put 16GB in there.

i was in the need for quick ram upgrade, but was going to get 4gb more, for 8gb of ram because i dont need that much, but the shop only had 8gb kits in stock, well they had 4 gb kits in stock but they were 4 1gb sticks or some ***, so i just bought the 8gb of ram, but yes, i completely agree with you, i should have 2-4-8-16-24-32gb's of ram in there, 12 is just retarded, its like have 5 or 7gb of ram, just weird xD

F@#$ yeah bro, i cant mange my athlon x4 640 3.0ghz past 3.7ghz right now for some reason, but i hear the 2500k gets to 4.2ghz completely stable, i have an aftermarket cooler( id also be overclocking to insure i have no chance of bottlenecking the cards

I am not sure if the high profile will clear the RAM slot for your high profile RAM.

Hmm very good point, possibly i could take the fan off an put it on the other side as a pull fan instead of push ( They detach and reattach really easily)

I know, but I don't think that it is wise to move it to the back, as the velocity is needed on the intake part, in the back, it would take the air in also from the sides and the cooling would receive much less air.

I happen to have an Asrock x3 gen 3 with SLI'ed GTX 460's clocked. It works quite welln no problems. Clocked to 4.2 GHz and idles at 38C with a CM212+. My G Skill 2X4 G RAM is -4GBRL which is a bit high profile and clears the Heat sink by about 1/4". I installled the RAM before the HSF. I'm pretty sure I could remove the RAM w/o removing the HSF if I really had to. My HSF fanis mounted blowing upward as I have a top exhaust fan in the case.
