Just looking to see if this will be alright or if anyone else has any better suggestions?

Im looking to update my Ram and Motherboard.

I currently have

ECS BLACK SERIES GF8200A (V1.0) AM2+/AM3 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800


I Have a
AMD Phenom II X4 925 Deneb 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
that I want to use with my new Mobo and ram.

I was thinking MSI 870S-G46 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard with G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

I have a $200 limit with shipping. Basically looking for something to support my current CPU with the possibly to upgrade later on and with two PCI16 slots, I also want to update my ram to 8gigs.

Thanks for any advise.

Buy an AM3+ board , the price is the same. I think latter you want to crossfire, if this is what you want then buy a mobo with PCIE x8/x8 in crossfire. The board you choosed work x16/x4.
