My laptop is http://in.asus.com/Notebooks/Versa [...] ifications

I want to know if i can upgrade the memory keeping the 2gb already present , with this one http://www.ebay.in/itm/4GB-DDR3-LA [...] 1071wt_905 , and making a total of 6gb ram..

Yes u can go up to 8GB max. 2x 4GB RAM sticks.

 

Memory:
DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 PC3-8500

Slots: 2

What do u have now?

1 stick of 2GB or 2 sticks of 1GB?

actually.. i know i can upgrade upto 8gb and how to install it..
the thing i want to know is would the already present 2gb memory be compatible with the 4gb that i m gonna buy that was given in the link..i mean any frquency clashes or anything of that stuff..(I have faced some in my desktop computer).

Well, DDR stands for double data, so yours is 667 x 2 = 1333MHz.
