HI All

I'm an amateur and just finished building my new computer. However the computer keeps freezing when i play bf3 or do complicated tasks, when i pressed ctr+alt+delete, it says "preparing system options" for a while and shuts down. Even if i don't use the computer, it will restart by itself and freeze on the boot screen.

Any help would be appreciated. THX

System specs:

-Aerocool Predator White Case
-750W Antec Trupower blue psu
-Intel Core i7 2700K
-Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/gen 3 motherboard
- Corsair Force Gt 120gb ssd
- WD 1tb caviar black hdd
-Corsair Dominator memory_____Corsair CMP8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
-Asus Radeon 6770

A freezing computer like this is nearly always caused by faulty memory, download memtest86 4.0a to test. Run it for at least 3 (preferably more) passes before pronouncing the memory as being good.

Sounds like memory to me. Run memtest.

You really shouldn't be running 1.65v memory with a 2700K, if you do, you should set it to 1.5v/1333mhz

my memory speed s apparently 1066mhz according to Asus EFI bios

would switching to a 8gb(2/4) memory with 1333mhz and 1.5v be a better option. if so could anyone please help me choose a good ram
