Hello,
Looking into building a new desktop and was wondering if the z68 V LX by Asus is a good enough motherboard to overclock the 2500k?

Is it worth me buying a better motherboard? What do the benefits of the pro or LE bring?

Same question for Gigabyte, are they better or worse than Asus in this range?

I build one PC with this board and 4.4GHz on 2600K, so the 2500K will do 4.2GHz without any problem.

 

U need to get aftermarket cooler for OC like that.
